Welcome to our pick of some of the best business lunches in Dubai. Forget the usual list where food can be formulaic.
Read our choices of the best business lunches that won’t make you feel like you’re on a conveyor belt.

It’s getting hot in Dubai and more and more of our activities are switching to indoors. Eating al fresco is out for now.
Why bother with business lunches in Dubai
Eating out at higher end restaurants in Dubai is expensive so the set price business lunch “deals” seem like a good way to experience great food.
They are, if you pick the right ones. Read on for our round up of business lunches in Dubai.
Business lunches we’ve tried and recommend
SUSHI SAMBA
Cuisine
Modern Japanese/Peruvian with a Pan Asian feel.

Location
51st floor of the St Regis hotel on the Palm Jumeirah right next to Nakheel Mall.
Business Lunch Offering
2 starters and 1 main course plus a miso soup to start at AED 159, good choices for vegetarians too.
Vibe
Buzzy and busy, a high octane set of diners who love life. It’s a day time party vibe without the loud music you get at night. A sort of high end I’m on holiday lunch but it also works for catch ups with 2 people too. The views of the Palm and natural light are an added bonus.
NOTE
Super popular for birthday party groups, it’s essential to book ahead. Check their policy for tables adjacent to windows offering spectacular views of the Palm. Service is still good; this can be quite inconsistent in Dubai.
This is definitely one that visitors to Dubai need to tick off their list. If you need to book a table and have any special requirements, call or WhatsAp Bruno on +97156 957 6670. Please quote my post!
L’ATELIER DE JOEL ROBUCHON
Cuisine
Contemporary French cuisine with a Mediterranean influence.

Location
DIFC Building 11, so that’s opposite Amazonico, round the corner from the buzzy Gate 5.
Business Lunch Offering
2 options. Either a starter, main course and dessert
OR 2 starters and a main. Both options cost AED 129
Vibe
Relaxed but smart set diners who seem like regulars. The inside outside terrace area is gorgeous. Not crowded or frenetic. Super service. Bread is hard to resist here!
NOTE
We did a combination of the offerings. It works very well, as one dessert is more than enough for 2 to share.
The mashed potatoes are famous at this venue, but maybe ask to switch this to small side salad if you’re opting for pasta as a main.
We LOVED the fact you could add a glass of wine for AED 39. I like the fact it would be hard to reproduce these dishes on this menu yourself at home.
Bread and butter comes as standard with no extra charge and is a must try!
HUTONG DUBAI
Cuisine
High end contemporary Chinese food authentically spiced.

Location
DIFC area Gate 6 in Al Sukook street. Valet parking available, so round the corner from the better known Gate Village 5.
Business Lunch offering
2 options
AED 88 for soup and a main course
AED 110 for soup, 2 starters and a main course
Vibe
Nicely buzzy at lunchtime, popular with Chinese people in Dubai. We liked the lucky tree in the restaurant with the red envelopes hanging from the branched. The lightning is on the moody side.
NOTE
They also have an unlimited dim sum brunch at AED 98 per person Sunday to Friday, yes includes Sunday! This menu is NOT on their website, it’s only for people who know! So now you know.
ODEON MARKET
Cuisine
Classic French cuisine with some Italian options.

Location
Not in DIFC this time, but on Jumeriah Beach road in Jumeirah 3. Well worth the trip and no traffic in the middle of the day.
Business Lunch Offering
Choice of starter, main course, water and a hot drink for AED 99
Vibe
Quite busy with people who seem to be regulars as well as neighbourhood types enjoying a grown up lunch. Think understated elegance with fresh roses on tables.
NOTE
It’s off the Business Lunch beaten track, but that’s a good thing and quality of food provides excellent value for money.
Buy some provisions from the French market patisserie shop downstairs before you leave. I suggest buying a dessert and sharing between two on top of the business lunch.
The desserts are DEFINITELY worth a try and anyway the coffee and water is included.
JUN’S DUBAI
Cuisine
Contemporary South East Asian with a Mediterranean slant.

Location
Ground floor of the Vida hotel Downtown Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid boulevard
Business Lunch Offering
2 options for business lunch. 2 courses at AED 110 or 3 courses at AED 130
Vibe
Large, comfy restaurant with dark leather style bucket chairs and low tables. Comprehensive bar area too.
NOTES
We chose both options and shared all 3 starters and the 1 dessert. Jun’s is a home grown concept in Dubai. We heard about it from friends who know the chef from Mumbai.
