MORE TO SEE AT MORAH

A brand new restaurant on the 72nd floor of the JW Marriott hotel in Sheikh Zayed road. We're brunching at Morah, called Byblos in Miami and Toronto but Morah in Dubai. We're eating oysters, pides and classy rice and daal. This is part of the same group that brought us Weslodge a few floors below. Belly dancers or the Burj Khalifa, what turns your head? Here's Chef Stuart Cameron telling about what he likes at Morah.

HIGH END CUISINE FROM HYDERABAD HERE TO STAY

Tried some excellent Indian food this time part of a special Hyderabadi promotion at the Ananta at the Oberoi in Business Bay. Although the visiting chef who learned his craft from one of the only 6 remaining Royal chefs specializing in Hyderabadi cuisine has now left, you can still try quite a few of the dishes at the Ananta as they'll be keeping them on there. We loved our Apollo Fish curry and purple sweet potato aloo ki tikki! Could eat this once a week for a year!  The cuisine of Kings well Nizams as they were called now available at Ananta. Try it Here's Chef Dirham talking about the prawns served on a hot brick of Himalayan rock salt!

BEING CHEEKY MID WEEKY IN DOWNTOWN

It doesn't matter if you're single, attached, with a bunch of girl friends, or a bunch of guy friends on the 14th of Feb at Rove Downtown. They're launching their Cheeky Mid Weekly night on the 14th with a relaxed bbq on the terrace featuring food from The Daily. Expect some choice bbqs, fresh salads and a selection of house beverages all taken al fresco for only AED 99 inclusive! Relax this Valentines Day...could be a popular being cheeky on a weekly basis I think!

STAND BY YOUR IRON MAN THIS VALENTINE'S DAY

A "Marvellous" Valentines experience amongst your favourite Avenger Superheros at IMG's World of Adventures! Stand by your Iron Man when you experience the Battle of Ultron Ride, Dinner at Tony's Skydeck - a set from an Iron Man movie - then play  the augmented reality game Being Iron Man, get the details via a Valentine's usb and then relive the experience via a special photo opportunity, all for AED 350! This Marvellous Experience is launching on Valentine's Day but then will be available year round.

IL BORRO SOUNDS BRILLIANT

New and romantic. I'm looking forward to try Il Borro the first branch outside Tuscany for this Salvatore Ferragamo family owned Italian restaurant. Sounds romantic as it's located on the side of the Turtle Lagoon in the new Al Naseem hotel next to the Madinat Jumeirah. Sounds like classic Italian food, not as casual as Toscana, but not as formal as Cipriani. Some friends of mine have already been, it opened on 12th of January and they loved it. We'll review this one next time, but if you fancy Tuscany for half term then try La Bandita townhouse in Pienza.
