A great GOAN find in Health Care City. Very busy with families eating lunch on a Friday, we loved the Rechado Goan style prawns with rice. First much smaller branch set up in Sharjah by a Goan couple who now live in Jumeirah. Must also try the Kulfilicious ice cream which you need after the spicy Goan prawns. Chicken Xiacuti also a favourite with our party.  Do you know any other Goan restaurants in Dubai?

I didn't expect much of this brunch, but did like that it started at 12pm as on Saturday that's still breakfast time for me! We LOVED the La Cantine brunch and would go again. Choose from a range of egg dishes to start then SMALL plates from their Signature selection, cheese or desserts to finish. Throw in some waiters in pyjamas wearing shades and dressing gowns, a gorgeous terrace and voila you're in Paris in Dubai, nowhere near Global Village or Falcon City of Wonders!

Hmm so it seems venues are vying for custom offering deals on a Thursday now! We would recommend this Thursday evening deal for the Ladies. A new Ladies Night we went to it after the Street Food Market. This time at Bice at the Hilton. Unlimited prosecco from 9 till 11 pm accompanied by some selected canapes. Get a table on the terrace if you can. Very good value. Anyone know how long Bice has been established in Dubai?
