HIGH END HAPPY HOUR – DIFC – Spanish Style
The Drinks A good selection of sangrias, red or white wine, beer and a few cocktails on rotation.
Any food? Yes! A selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian snacks, small plates made for sharing.
Noteworthy The white wine was excellent quality, genuinely better than places we’ve paid more for.
Price AED 35 per drink and per snack, each snack comfortably feeds two.
When 4pm to 7pm, weekdays only
Where? Barrafina, DIFC Gate Village 5. Mention DoinDubai when you book.
Save room for dessert, a few spoons of the Basque cheesecake is a must.

The Vibe : Beautiful setting with sophisticated without the snobby feel and lovely service too.
Any food? Yes! Plenty, choose from the bites menu see our spicy tuna rolls featured, and or select from the a la carte menu. Vegetarian also available.
Where are we: MAYABAY – Jumeirah Al Naseem Turtle Lagoon, beach level.

GREAT WAY TO WIND DOWN- Central American style
Girl and The Goose – Tranquilo Hour Tried and loved this one! Was there again last Monday!
The Vibe Good selection of wine, cocktails and prosecco.
Any food? Yes! A very good bar bites menu, featuring favourites like Gigi’s Guacamole and the famous empanadas – choose chicken or cheese with caramelized onions.
Price Drinks starting at AED 35.

HAPPY HOURS -JOSETTE ICD BROOKFIELD PLACE
The Santé Hour DAILY from 4pm to 7pm.
Cocktails, wine and beer for AED 45.
Snacks are complimentary with your drinks. You can sit at the bar area or the tables. There may be people still finishing Afternoon Tea.
We love the decor at Josette, it’s elegant and quite distinctive. Very comfy seating too.
We loved the pample mousse grapefruit cocktail, ask for a shot of lime if it’s too sweet!
And or ask to make it with soda vs tonic. See feature picture above for typical Josette bites served complimentary with your drinks.
Did you know that you can only sit in certain areas of some venues to avail their Happy Hour offering? Usually only at the bar area or at bar tables.

A few minutes walk away from Josette is The Guild, have a drink at each of these places. The drinks come alone for AED 35 OR AED 60 with the snack! DoinDubai thinks that’s great value.
We really liked the snacks at The Guild too, DoinDubai chose hot shoestring fries and posh cheese toastie bites.
HAPPY HOURS – CLAP – DIFC
NAME OF THE HAPPY HOUR: Golden Hours See their latest menu and timings below.
Drinks from AED 39 per glass for wine. There used to be Minuty on the previous Golden Hours menu.
DAYS AND TIMES: Mon to Fri 4.30 to 7.30
Note you can only sit at the bar for this Golden Hours deal AND you’re limited to only one hour for this deal. That hour starts from when you order your first drink.
INDOCHINE – DIFC – NOW CLOSED but re opened as MR CHOW, we hear it’s super pricey for food at least, haven’t tried for drinks as yet. Please leave me a comment if you want to know the offering here.

MINA BRASSERIE – Four Seasons DIFC
NAME OF THE HAPPY HOUR: Apertivo
DAYS AND TIMES: Monday to Friday 4pm to 8pm
TO DRINK AED 55 for one drink or AED 45 each if you get two drinks.
Selection of good wines, classic cocktails, Heineken beer and spirts.
TO EAT
Small selection of Mediterranean style Bar Bites ranging from AED 60 to 80 or slightly cheaper if get 2 snacks.
The vibe is an elegant, relaxed and very comfy seating, can be a bit quiet early evening, but great if you need to have a proper conversation.
Nearby LPM has a much busier scene but it gets noisy!
HAPPY HOURS -LA NINA –
ICD BROOKFIELD very near Josette and The Guild
NAME OF THE HAPPY HOUR AFTERWORK – new offering.
DAYS AND TIMES: MONDAY TO FRIDAY from 4pm to 7pm.
NOTE You can only avail this deal at the bar area. But we really like the bar area at La Nina.
TO DRINK
A selection of cocktails, beers, wine and cava. Cocktails are priced at AED 51 and wines AED 42.
TO EAT
Choose the olives, pan con tomate and patatas fritas for very reasonably priced snacks. Again from the new Afterwork selection.
MONICA’S TOP TIP
While it’s not a Happy Hour we’re letting you in on a cool early evening drinks option.
Try the beautiful Rialto Bar at the new Marsa Al Arab.
Good quality gin and soda around AED 55 with little bar snacks, a beautiful view if it’s hot, and a cool terrace for winter. We love it. Booking essential.

This is such a great list, exactly what we would’ve needed during our trip!
We visited Dubai in April and would have loved to relax at one of these happy hour spots with good snacks and a nice view after a hot day.
