Stanley Kubrik’s classic adaptation of the novel by William Thackeray called THE LUCK OF BARRY LYNDON. The film is based on the book first published in 1844! About an Irishman trying to raise his status in life by marrying into the English aristocracy. Reviews of the movie have been resoundingly positive and some people say it’s the best historical film they’ve seen.
The general theme still resonates today with things like Tindler Swindler and Bridgeton now has it’s 2nd season!
