EXPERIENCE TOMORROW TODAY AT THE MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE DUBAI
This week we’re visiting that iconic building on Sheikh Zayed Road called The Museum of the Future. Expect to see 5 floors of everything future related.
We explored the 2nd floor called Tomorrow Today in detail and got to look at some of the ideas that are way ahead of their time, or are they.
Packaging out of algae, canine mine sniffers and the stand up chair that you straps on to your legs! Did I mention the copper metal jacket that protects you against viruses? The viewing gallery also on the 2nd floor is the must do for that insta photo!

They are planning some exciting new activities for children now
That calligraphy on the body of the outside of the building is actually made up of three inspirational quotes by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Human eye-shaped exterior actually represents a vision to the future. The void in the middle also represents the unknown aspect of the future.
It will most certainly keep enhancing and changing as time passes to ensure it is up to date with all the happenings around us. It is a living museum that will constantly be updated.

If there’s one event you should go to even on your own it’s Vision Boarding with Nathalie and Ghalia.
I loved this activity but was skeptical before hand for sure!
You start with a very short meditation and then a request to quickly write down what you really, realistically want out of your life. Just for a limited few minutes.
You are then given and you can choose from stacks of magazines that you use to look at images and words that resonate with what you want out of your life.
If there are 2 or more images that work for you, then one will shout louder than the other! You then use these words and pictures to make your unique and personal vision board to take away.
The friendly and wise teachers / facilitators are there as guides and keep you on track. You’ll also be plied with amazingly healthy treats and coffee from Ghalia of Urth cafe in JLT.
Very well worth doing as a present to yourself.
